Piper Goodeve

Director of Education/Artistic Associate

Piper first came to Weston in 1998 as an intern, and in 2000 was part of the inaugural Young Company. Since then, favorite Weston credits include "Saturday Night," "Oklahoma," "Private Lives," "Gypsy," "Swingtime Canteen," "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee," and "The Marvelous Wonderettes." She has performed in NYC at the Fringe Festival, the Duke on 42nd Street, Joe’s Pub, York Theatre Co., and the Lucille Lortel, originating the role of Anne in Anne of Green Gables, for which she received a Drama League Award nomination for Distinguished Performance. Regional credits include: Syracuse Stage, Hangar Theatre, McCarter, Tennessee Shakespeare Co., and Merrimack Rep. Piper brings ten years of teaching experience to her role as Director of Education & Outreach, having taught and directed at the Hangar Theatre Next Generation School of Theatre, Project Contemporary Competitiveness/Advanced Studies Program at Bridgewater State College, The Studio New Canaan, and the high school Summer Shakespeare Program at the McCarter. She holds an MFA in Acting from Brown University/Trinity Rep where she was the teaching assistant to the Head of Voice and Speech.
