Job Title: Box Office Manager

Work week:
6 Days, 8 - 10 hours/day
Housing included:
Single room, shared kitchen and bath in company housing

Responsibilities:
• Accurate processing of phone, mail and window ticket sales.
• Providing outstanding customer service to all WPTC patrons.
• Setup, operation and maintenance of all WPTC ticket sales locations.
• Maintenance of customer and transaction records in box office software application.
• Assist Audience Services Manager in training, supervision and scheduling of Box Office staff.
• Reconciliation of all daily transactions and cash drawer.
• Preparation of daily sales and performance reports for Managing Director.
• Oversee sale of all WPTC merchandise.
• Work with WPTC House Manager to assure the safe and efficient seating of all Playhouse patrons for each performance.

Requirements:
• 2 – 3 years of Box Office experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Computer fluency and/or experience with computerized box office software.
• A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and the ability to work efficiently and gracefully under pressure.
• Experience handling money and generating reconciliation reports.
• Proficiency in managing staff members of varying experience levels.
