High School

The Weston Playhouse Theatre Company offers several programs for Junior High and High School Students.  In 2012 we will offer two programs: Student Ambassadors and Young Playwrights.

For more information about these programs, please email or call Stuart Duke at 802-824-8167 x 103.

Young Playwrights:

Teach your students or drama club the art of writing for the stage with the help of one of the Weston Playhouse Theatre Company's incredible and knowledgable teaching artists.

The Teaching Artist can work with students in two ways:

Academic Approach: Playwrighting in three acts- Two or more "in-school field trip days" with a WPTC Teaching Artist

Club Coaching: A Teaching Artist works with your drama or writing club over the course of many weeks to develop, write and perform a play. - Available in 2012

Student Ambassadors:

WPTC's NEWEST Education Program! 10 lucky students will receive a complimentary subscription for him/herself AND a guest, as well as additional educational activities like backstage tours and post show talk backs.
