The Hartness House Inn and Tavern is excited to announce its partnership with the Weston Playhouse Theatre Company.
Enjoy pre-theatre dining and Cabaret fare in the Playhouse at the new Hartness Tavern. Chef Nicholas Matush and Sous Chef Benjamin Minifie will offer a fresh “melting pot cuisine” - an eclectic collaboration of the two chef’s wide culinary experiences, with ingredients from Weston area farms and purveyors.
Nicholas Matush, also known as The Mad Pickler, connected with local farmers during his days vending at the Londonderry Farmer’s Market and looks forward to building new partnerships with old friends. “We are honored to be a part of the Weston Playhouse Theatre Company, building a connection between the farms, food, and the rich culture of Southern Vermont.”

The Hartness Tavern is open for dinner and drinks on MainStage show evenings beginning at 5:00 pm for theatre guests. Performances begin at 7:30 pm. Dinner guests not attending the theatre may book as late as 7:00 pm. Walk-ins are welcome but wait time is not guaranteed.
