A Fantasia on the Life of Florence Foster Jenkins
by Stephen Temperley
Directed by Tim Fort
Set Design: Blair Mielnik
Original Costume Design by Tracey Christensen for George Street Playhouse
Lighting Design: Travis McHale
Production Stage Manager: Phill Madore*

Meet the greatest soprano who never was. Based on a real-life story, this truly original comedy is about Florence Foster Jenkins, a New York socialite and tone-deaf diva who thought she had the pipes to take the concert world by storm. Her wry accompanist chronicles Florence's unlikely rise to cult status, culminating in a sold-out Carnegie Hall performance. Wickedly funny and unexpectedly moving, Souvenir is a thoughtful meditation on the ways we see ourselves and the unpredictable nature of friendship.

A delicious comedy with music
