Deb Sherrer

GENERAL MANAGER

DEB SHERRER is an arts manager focusing on finance, HR, and system/process integration. After a decade as a professional stage manager, she refocused her career into arts management. With an emphasis on helping arts organizations effectively implement new technology and on increasing financial accountability standards, she has worked as the Director of Finance and HR at Charleston Stage Company and the Business Manager at Emerald City Theatre. She is currently a Director at Large for the United States Institute for Theatre Technology (USITT) where she serves as the Chair of the Board Mentorship Committee, Chair of the Audit Committee, and Co-Chair of the Membership Committee. Deb holds a Master of Arts Management from Carnegie Mellon University’s Heinz College of Public Policy and Management and a BFA in Theatre with a concentration in stage management from Point Park University.
