No matter if you are over sixty, under ten, or somewhere in between, the Weston Playhouse has an educational program for you. Come grow with us!

At Weston, we believe that the two hours audience members spend in a seat is but a fraction of the enrichment they can receive from live theatre. In support of that belief, we offer education and outreach programs for students of all ages. We seek to provide an enjoyable educational experience for theatre-lovers at any age.

Programs like our Directors Talks, online study guides, and our popular London Theatre Tour appeal to both long-time and brand new theatre fans. During our summer season, we offer accessibility services like audio description and ASL interpretation for those with hearing or visual impairment. Our educational programs for children and teens foster a love of the arts and enrich individual growth, as we seek to encourage not just wonderful artists, but wonderful people. Since creative play in childhood is linked directly to academic success and a stronger sense of self, programs like Broadway Theatre Camp and the Young Playwrights Project use theatre as a tool to teach important life skills such as critical thinking, teamwork, and compassion.

"The play was outstanding. It was like gold before my eyes." - Dakota Smith, Flood Brook School, 8th Grader
