Executive Artistic Director

The Executive Artistic Director will be responsible for planning and executing all of the Weston Playhouse​ ​Theatre’s programs and events through oversight and mentorship.​ Management Consultants for the Arts has been engaged to lead the search for this position. Applications are now closed.

Seasonal Staff Employment

Our summer schedule consists of producing seven shows on two stages between June and September. Work alongside professional designers, directors, technicians, and actors from all over the country. We celebrate musicals, plays and new works here in Weston, challenging and entertaining our audiences and artists with comedy, drama, and everything in-between.

Below is a list of anticipated openings for the 2018 Summer Season. Most positions are employed from late May through late August or early September. Application materials are accepted at any time. All applicants must be aware that there is little to no cell phone reception in Weston, but wireless internet service is widely available. Staff and intern positions are paid and include housing. Staff level positions require academic training and/or prior professional theatrical experience.

New Opportunity!

Weston Playhouse Theatre Company is looking for part time House Managers to support the Box Office staff during performances at the historic Weston Playhouse and the new Weston Playhouse at Walker Farm for our 2018 Summer Season. Duties include overseeing front of house operations including the opening and closing of buildings, managing volunteer ushers, overseeing concessions and ensuring the timely seating and safety of all patrons before, during, and after the performance. House Managers will be trained and certified in First Aid and CPR if needed.
